friday, thursday, and sunday. (26,2,5).

Sorry that it's been a while since I've journaled the fascinating adventures of my life, but the reason the updates have been scarce is because this week has been a few notches less than exciting. As I lay, buried under stacks of homework in the library, I am still finding time to blog, and believe it or not, I did happen to have a little fun over the past weeks.

Friday:

The 26th of September was the day that six friends, including the foreign kid, reverted back a couple of year. Ten to be precise. We all were reminising how fun it was to not have anything to do but eat dirt pudding and build forts all day. So, in light of that, we pushed our homework aside, and picked up some supplies. Before everyone came, Pearl and I sent out texts advising those who chose to attend to BYOS (bring your own sheet). We pooled our resourses together and got to work. Kelly (Kelsey) and I slaved in the kitchen making the essentials: dirt pudding and macarroni and cheese. After that was done, everyone worked together to construct the fort . . . everyone minus Ruben who apparently was not used to cameras in his foreign land, because he took close 150 pictures in the course of about 2 minutes. After construction concluded, and we all nestled closely together on the fouton and the mattresses that we took from the beds, we popped in the Ruins, and titled this night, "the night the in the Fort when the dirt Ruined the macarroni and cheese".

Thursday:

After an exhilarating night of teaching little children the art of dancing, I had to hustle back to campus to set-up for a Coffee house my organization (Student Activities Council) was heading. We set-up the sound equipment, bought donuts, and prepared coffee. As 9:29 Taylor Time came around, we welcomed people to volunteer to share their talents or in other words, be our entertainment minions. And that they did. There were poets up the wazoo, a few vocalist, instrumentalists, stand-up comedians, and those who shared stories. It was a break, and it was fun.

Sunday:

After talking this up for what seemed to be a lifetime, we finally decided to make it happen on October 5th. We wanted to get the full experience of beer pong and still abide by the soul-sucking covenant that we all live by here. Therefore, we voyaged over to the Wal, picked up five 2 liters of off brand lemonade (to get the effect of cheap beer), red, plastic cups, ping pong balls, and made our way over to the Falcon's nest (our new late night lounge) to set-up. We played the old school "bubble gum" game with our feet choose teams and we were ready to play. We thought that since we didn't have alcohol, we wouldn't have any fun, and the game would be too easy, but wasn't the case. Obviously, after a few drinks of beer, you get better, becaue we were all stinking it up. We only drank two 2 1/2 liters of lemonade between the seven of us, and we could already feel it coming back up. We must be light weights. We even slid down the stairs on a table. We even got a chance to experience the authorities, as we got questioned by the rent-a-cop for our neighborhood about our lying in the street in attempt to get a creative picture. We played a little Phase 10, and wrapped up the festivities. It was an epic night.
I don't know what we're going to do next, but I do know that it will be awesome. Tune in next time.

monday through wednesday. (22-24).

As I sit in the library this wonderful Thursday afternoon, encumbered in Relient K, I am free to reflect on all of the things that have already happened this week.

Monday:

After a weekend of remembering our last three years at Taylor, Pearl and I decided that we can't let this constant entertainment conclude on our last year together. It was for this very reason, coupled with the fact that we didn't have evening classes, that we decided to leave the good 'Ole Fort and head to Chicago for a few hours.

Our thief bandannas that encompassed our faces did not stop us from making friends. One of which was Fadunka (not sure that was really her name). She was visiting the States from Stockholm, Sweden for a 2 week conference. She seemed as if she had all of the time in the world as she kept us from exploring to city to take pictures with her. Well, at least she was pretty.

We visited the Mac store, paraded the town with a horrible British accent, and took pictures in front of way too many fountains. It was fun.

Tuesday:

This wasn't a crazy night. I taught little kids to dance, and had class until 9:20pm.

After class adjourned, Pearl and I returned to her apartment in order to attempt to finish our Stats homework early, but we ended up making an enormous amount of Mac and Cheese with two types of noodles, and a stolen pack of cheese.

We did a little ghost busting as well.

Wednesday:

After a failed attempt to get a free stack of pancakes at ihop for it's 50th anniversary celebration at midnight, we decided we needed to make up for the wasted trip.

Around 5 pm, when we would normally eat dinner in the dc, we grabbed the foreign kid, Ruben, and went to ihop and got three pancakes, which hardly proved to be a "stack". After putting our 4 dollars in the Crisis Pregnancy Center donation box, we headed to the other ihop on Lima Rd. to get some more.

Unfortunately, Carma kicked us in the butt as we all almost puked from all of the pancakes we ate.

We concluded that night by playing the lovely game, catch phrase, and making an oh so often Wal-mart run.

Great three days.

the goal.

I do many things. Many random things. Daily.

Most of the time, the events I happen upon have little to no documentation, and if they do by chance have the proof that these spurs of excitement actually happened and are not just elaborate details of my over-active imagination, they provide zero to no explanation.

In an attempt to share with those of you who do not necessarily have the opportunity to be blessed with my verbal interpretation of said random happenings, I will try to weekly,at latest biweekly, present you all with adequate documentation and explanation of the daily random events that happen through the duration of my Senior year in College.
