Friday:
The 26th of September was the day that six friends, including the foreign kid, reverted back a couple of year. Ten to be precise. We all were reminising how fun it was to not have anything to do but eat dirt pudding and build forts all day. So, in light of that, we pushed our homework aside, and picked up some supplies. Before everyone came, Pearl and I sent out texts advising those who chose to attend to BYOS (bring your own sheet). We pooled our resourses together and got to work. Kelly (Kelsey) and I slaved in the kitchen making the essentia
ls: dirt pudding and macarroni and cheese. After that was done, everyone worked together to construct the fort . . . everyone minus Ruben who apparently was not used to cameras in his foreign land, because he took close 150 pictures in the course of about 2 minutes. After construction concluded, and we all nestled closely together on the fouton and the mattresses that we took from the beds, we popped in the Ruins, and titled this night, "the night the in the Fort when the dirt Ruined the macarroni and cheese".

Thursday:
After an exhilarating night of teaching little children the art of dancing, I had to hustle back to campus to set-up for a Coffee house my organization (Student Activities Council) was heading. We set-up the sound equipment, bought donuts, and prepared coffee. As 9:29 Taylor Time came around, we welcomed people to volunteer to share their talents or in other words, be our entertainment minions. And that they did. There were poets up the wazoo, a few vocalist, instrumentalists, stand-up comedians, and those who shared stories. It was a break, and it was fun.

Sunday:
After talking this up for what seemed to be a lifetime, we finally decided to make it happen on October 5th. We wanted to get the full experience of beer pong and still abide by the soul-sucking covenant that we all live by here. Therefore, we voyaged over to the Wal, picked up five
2 liters of off brand lemonade (to get the effect of cheap beer), red, plastic cups, ping pong balls, and made our way over to the Falcon's nest (our new late night lounge) to set-up. We played the old school "bubble gum" game with our feet choose teams and we were ready to play. We thought that since we didn't have alcohol, we wouldn't have any fun, and the game would be too easy, but wasn't the case. Obviously, after a few drinks of beer, you get better, becaue we were all stinking it up. We only drank two 2 1/2 liters of lemonade between the seven of us, and we could already feel it coming back up. We must be light weights. We even slid down the stairs on a table. We even got a chance to experience the authorities, as we got questioned by the rent-a-cop for our neighborhood about our lying in the street in attempt to get a creative picture. We played a little Phase 10, and wrapped up the festivities. It was an epic night.

I don't know what we're going to do next, but I do know that it will be awesome. Tune in next time.
